PVD Vegan Restaurant Week is taking a hiatus for 2023. Follow @riveganrestaurantweek for 2024 information.

November 1 is World Vegan Day and PVD Vegan Restaurant Week is keeping the celebration going for 10 days! From Oct. 28–Nov. 6, dozens of restaurants in Providence and throughout Rhode Island will showcase their best animal-free dining options. Participating restaurants will offer exclusive plant-based specials or a complete three-course prix fixe dining experience.

If you're looking for a full meal at a great price, Diego's Eastside is offering a mix-and-match, three-course prix fixe menu for $35. First course options are Beet Crudo, Sweet Potato Crack Fries or Guacamole. Guests have a second course choice of Vegan Tacos, Vegan Burrito, Spicy Tofu Tacos or Corn & Avocado Tostada. Rounding out the meal nicely, dessert options are Avocado Chocolate Coconut Mousse, Sorbet & Berries or Vegan Spiced Vanilla Cake.

Stop by Basil & Bunny in Bristol or look for Fluffy (their adorably nicknamed food truck) for one of their specially priced Bunny Meals. Try the Bunny Mak, two house-made bean and mushroom patties with lettuce, grilled onions, house pickles, vegan cheddar and fancy sauce on a sesame seed bun. Or check out the Rhody-O, a seasoned Impossible burger with vegan cheddar, bourbon brown sugar BBQ sauce, onion rings, lettuce and tomato. All Bunny Meals come with hand-cut fries and a small chocolate chip cookie.

If you're in the mood to satisfy your pumpkin craving, Lucy Juicy will be serving up a Pumpkin, Peanut Butter, Banana, Chocolate Smoothie and Chai Pumpkin Spice Donut combo. Try the three-course meal at Casa Azul Taqueria, which includes a Caramelized Pumpkin dessert or stop by Thrive Tribe Cafe in Barrington for a Pumpkin Pie Crepe.

When it comes to vegan dining, Rhode Island is no small blip on the radar. The city's seen the opening of the world's first vegan ice cream truck (followed by a brick-and-mortar store) with Like No Udder, and the world's first vegan food hall, Plant City.

Don't forget to share photos of your vegan meals with #PVDVeganRestaurantWeek or #RIVeganRestaurantWeek!
