Grab a Local Brew

Proclamation Ale Company (aka PROC) is a woman-owned brewery located in Warwick, RI, only a few blocks from RI T.F. Green International Airport. The 15,000-square-foot brewery includes a large taproom with a small video arcade and an outdoor patio with a firepit. Proclamation is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Small-batch beer and good food is the connector for what Apponaug Brewing Company calls a "third place," a place that's not home, not work, but where people gather to enjoy meeting with old and new friends. Closed Mondays.

New Places To Try in Warwick

Located in historic Apponaug, you'll find The Social House, an intimate and stylish lounge with playful cocktails and opulent details, offering shared plate options, special live music nights, private event space and more! This new hot spot is quickly becoming known for their charcuterie boards, fancy deviled "eggz," flatbread pizzas and dessert boards, but their shared-plate menu also includes a number of other culinary delights. The new Red, White & Brew Coffeehouse in Airport Plaza is led by the owner's son, Michael, who has autism, and his mom. They're a specialty coffeehouse, selling locally roasted coffee beans, along with a delicious selection of muffins, pastries and calzones. They share their home with The Budding Violet, a unique gift shop filled with items from local artists.  

Clouds Hill Museum

401-884-9490 / This portal to the past is one of the filming locations for HBO's "The Gilded Age." History buffs will want to be sure to visit this former country estate. Check their website for holiday events.
