With March 17 falling on a Sunday this year, there's lots to do! And, if you're heading out, there are plenty of bars and pubs to visit like Blake's Tavern, Murphy's and Trinity Brewhouse, along with countless restaurants.
Take parade pre-gaming to a new level and register for the Guinness St. Pat's 5K on March 9. The race starts at the Rhode Island State House at 11 a.m. and ends with a post-race party at Patrick's Pub on Smith St. just in time for the Providence St. Patrick's Day Parade!
Even the Providence Bruins are getting in on the Irish fun. The first 2,000 fans in attendance on March 16 will receive a free St. Patrick's Day themed T-shirt as the P-Bruins take on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms
